HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's presidential runoff election has been delayed and will now take place within 90 days of May 2, when official results were first released, the government said in a notice on Wednesday.
In a special government notices gazette published onWednesday, Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa said: "Notwithstanding Section 110 of the Electoral Act, the periodwithin which a second election for the office of the presidentis hereby extended from 21 days to 90 days from the date ofannouncement of results of the first poll."
