Kenya opposition vows mass action if talks fail

NAIROBI (Reuters) - Kenya's opposition threatened on Wednesday to resume street protests if talks led by Kofi Annan to resolve a post-election crisis fail to produce concrete results within a week.

Saying the government was not "a serious partner" innegotiations, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) set a week'sdeadline for constitutional changes to allow a politicalsettlement. "If that does not happen, ODM will resume peacefulmass action," the party said in a statement.
