Cameron says Afghan drawdown not to let up pressure

PRAGUE (Reuters) - The United States' drawdown in Afghanistan will not allow a let up in pressure against the insurgency there, British Prime Minister David Cameron said on Thursday.

U.S. President Barack Obama announced Wednesday that he planned to withdraw 33,000 troops from Afghanistan by the end of next summer. After the withdrawal, about 70,000 troops will remain in Afghanistan.
