KERBALA, Iraq (Reuters) - Ten people were killed in a second bomb blast targeting Shi'ite pilgrims in the Iraqi city of Kerbala Monday, raising the day's toll to at least 14 as hundreds of thousands took part in a major religious rite, an official said.
Four people were killed and 49 wounded in a first blast and 10 were killed and 92 wounded in the second, said Deputy Health Minister Khamis al-Saad. An army captain had earlier put the death toll from the initial explosion at six.
