BUDAPEST (Reuters) - Hungary's centre-right Fidesz party can extend its mandate to a two-thirds parliamentary majority in Sunday's runoff election round, a projection by pollster Szonda-Ispos showed.
The survey, published by national news agency MTI, put Fidesz on 264 seats, above the 258 seats needed for a two-thirds legislative majority, the Socialists on 58 seats, and the far-right Jobbik on 48 seats.
Green liberal LMP is expected to gain 16 seats in the next parliament.
It was not clear when the projection was conducted.
