At least 25 killed in bombings in Baghdad

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 25 people were killed and more than 100 wounded when a series of bombs exploded in Shi'ite areas of Baghdad on Friday, Iraqi police said.

The attacks on Baghdad's Sadr City slum, near Shi'ite mosques and on a marketplace, followed a string of blows against al Qaeda by Iraqi security forces in the past days.
