Car bomb in Iraqi capital kills 10, official says

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 10 people were killed and more than that number wounded when a car bomb exploded on Friday in a Shi'ite neighbourhood of the Iraqi capital, an official said.

It was the deadliest of several attacks on Shi'ite mosques, a market and law enforcement officials in Baghdad and the westerly province of Anbar following a string of blows against al Qaeda by Iraqi security forces in the past days.
