Senate panel to vote on Bernanke Thursday morning

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote on the nomination of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to a second four-year term as head of the U.S. central bank on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., the panel said.

If the committee approves Bernanke, his nomination will be considered by the full Senate.
