Russia to raise new currency issue with China at G8

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia and China will stress the need to develop a global financial system with gradual development of a new reserve currency, top Kremlin economic aide Arkady Dvorkovich said ahead of a G8 summit this week.

He added Russia was not aiming to undermine the dollar and said he believed the upcoming summit would be balanced on anti-crisis measures, saying it was too soon to cut off aid but it was also time to start thinking about exit plans.
