Five killed in Boko Haram bomb attack in Niger - sources

NIAMEY (Reuters) - A Boko Haram bomb attack in the Niger border town of Diffa killed five people on Monday and seriously wounded five others, two security sources told Reuters.

One source said the blast was caused by a female suicide bomber, but the second source said it was a car bomb.

The attack on Diffa is the third in four days as militants from the Nigeria-based jihadist sect step up cross-border attacks.
