SEOUL (Reuters) - Seven South Korean soldiers were killed when their military helicopter crashed into a mountain east of Seoul early on Wednesday morning, an army spokesman said.
"We are still trying to find out the reason for the crash,"he said.
The helicopter was returning to base after it had droppedoff a soldier at a hospital who appeared to have suffered astroke, the spokesman said.
The seven soldiers left on board were killed when thehelicopter went down in Yangpyeong, about 45 km (30 miles) eastof the capital.
