FCC- Filial WRG logra contrato a 25 años por 600 mln libras

WRG es un grupo líder de gestión de residuos en Reino Unido que fue comprado el pasado mes de julio por el español Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas por unos 2.030 millones de euros.

MADRID (AFX-España) - Waste Recycling Group (WRG) anunció la firma de un contrato con vigencia durante 25 años y un importe de 600 millones de libras (cerca de 900 millones de euros), para el tratamiento de residuos en los municipios ingleses de Reading, Bracknell Forest y Wokingham.

A new £600 million waste contract aimed at further reducing reliance on landfill while boosting recycling rates has been signed by three local authorities and Waste Recycling Group.

The 25-year joint Waste Private Finance Initiative (PFI) between Reading Borough Council, Bracknell Forest Borough Council and Wokingham District Council known as the Re3 Waste Partnership aims to deliver a long-term sustainable solution to dealing with waste produced by households in three council areas.

Waste Recycling Group (WRG), the UK's leading waste management services and energy recovery company, have been chosen by the Re3 Waste Partnership to deliver the new waste strategy.
