WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lockheed Martin Corp LMT.N> has been awarded a $371.6 million U.S. Army contract for a fourth production batch of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems, the Defense Department said on Wednesday.
The system was developed cooperatively by the United States, Britain, Italy, France and Germany.
The next batch is due to be completed by December 22, 2009, the Pentagon said in its daily contract digest.
