America's Unified Wine & Grape Symposium Brings the International Wine Community Together

In January 2007, wine and grape industry professionals from around
the world will converge in Sacramento, California for the latest
industry advances they need to know to remain competitive.

The 2007 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, taking place at the
Sacramento Convention Center on Jan. 23 - 25, features a variety of
informational sessions and a trade show highlighting the latest
innovations in equipment and services available in the industry.

"Symposium planners challenged themselves to select industry
issues that foster global interests that will be most relevant to
attendees in the coming year," Program Chairman Bob Steinhauer said.

This year's general session topics include: 10 Things You Need to
Know to Sell More Wine This Decade, which translates results from
surveys, market research studies and focus groups into ready-to-use
information on how to cater to the American wine market, and The State
of the Industry, where speakers will provide the most current analysis
of plantings to match wine sales trends, the global bulk wine supply
and implications for the U.S. wine production, and trends in 2006 wine
sales.

As in past years, there are smaller breakout sessions organized
into four different categories in addition to the general sessions.
The four topic areas are: Grapegrowing; Winemaking; Business,
Economics & Operations; and Marketing & Public Relations.

One of the breakout sessions will be Selling Your Wines Direct to
the Consumer, which presents strategies for successful direct
marketing programs using the Internet and public relations programs,
and discusses the most current state-by-state information on laws and
regulations governing marketing activities in the United States.

In addition to the symposium sessions, the event hosts the
industry's largest trade show of its kind in the hemisphere, with over
500 vendors displaying their products and services. Attendees can see
the latest advances in industry equipment and talk with company
representatives from around the world.

Jointly organized by the American Society for Enology and
Viticulture (ASEV) and the California Association of Winegrape Growers
(CAWG), the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium represents the collective
experience, knowledge and background of the entire industry. For
