Cliffhanger Ghana poll to be decided on Friday

ACCRA (Reuters) - Ghana's electoral commission said Tuesday it could not yet announce the result of the presidential election run-off because the contest was too close and voting still had to be held in one final constituency.

To decide the winner, voting would take place Friday in the Tain constituency, the only one out of the country's 230 constituencies where balloting had not taken place, electoral commission chief Kwadwo Afari-Gyan said.
