Bodelin Technologies Inc. has begun shipping a new Hi-Rez version
of their popular ProScope hand held microscope. The new model is
called ProScope HR (high-resolution).
The new ProScope HR features a 1.3 Mp imager and new included
software, for Windows and Mac, to captures stills, video and time
lapse with a single click. ProScope HR is a USB video class device
that works with the native USB driver in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and
Mac OS 10.4.8. Just load the free software and you're ready to go
without a separate driver. You can adjust the resolution from 320X240
for video, 640X480 for live presentation and 1280X1024 to capture
high-resolution stills. The new ProScope HR works with the previous
ProScope lenses so current ProScope customers can simply upgrade to a
new base. A new 400X lens is being introduced with this launch.
The older ProScope is already used in thousands of schools and
universities throughout the world in a wide variety of science
studies. You may have seen the ProScope used on the popular CSI TV
series, on Oprah or in feature films because of its actual use by
federal, state and municipal law enforcement investigators. Emerging
ProScope HR markets include industrial quality control, medical
markets and cosmetic markets.
