The acquisition significantly broadens Sunquest´s global presence with a market leading and complementary solution set that delivers web–based functionality which enables electronic requesting and reporting between the laboratory and GPs and Clinicians in Primary and Secondary care.

The acquisition is expected to complete during November. Combining Sunquest´s leading laboratory information systems, anatomic pathology systems, and radiology information systems with Anglia´s ICE portfolio will enable improved connectivity, communications and messaging across the continuum of care between Patient Administrative Systems (PAS), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), the GP office secondary care based systems and patients.
