VWR International, LLC, a leading global laboratory supply company, announced today that it has acquired OMNILAB AG, a Swiss scientific laboratory supply distributor headquartered in Mettmenstetten near Zurich.
OMNILAB was founded in 1990 and is one of Switzerland´s largest independent suppliers of laboratory equipment and consumables. OMNILAB is recognized for its product–technical and service–oriented approach to its customers. It is a very well represented name in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and industrial scientific market segments, servicing both customers in the public and private sectors. OMNILAB´s core business of supplying instrumentation, consumables and services complements VWR´s local expertise in chemicals, consumables and life science products.
