FPD International 2006: The Leading International Exhibition and Forum on Flat Panel Display to Be Held in Yokohama on October 18

Nikkei Business Publications, Inc., Japan's most famous publishing
company and part of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun Group, will hold FPD
International 2006 from October 18 to 20 at Pacifico Yokohama, in
Yokohama, Japan.

FPD International is the only exhibition and forum on flat panel
displays (FPDs) in the world, where leading panel manufacturers
forming the core part of the industry gather from Japan, Korea,
Taiwan, the U.S., and Europe under one roof. It provides a perfect
opportunity for electronics companies to obtain the latest information
on FPDs.

The FPD International 2006 exhibition highlights the largest
85-or-more-inch LCD, 103-inch PDP, and special 3D view and dual-view
FPDs. The exhibition also showcases FPD-related companies from
manufacturers of operating machines, inspection equipment, and parts
to material suppliers. The exhibitors will display their latest
products that fascinate all executives and engineers.

The annual FPD International has been growing into a large-scale
event with more FPD-related business exhibitors each year. This year,
FPD International 2006 will record the largest number of exhibitors in
its history.

In line with the exhibition, the FPD Summit will be held as a part
of the world's only forum that brings together representatives of
panel manufacturers from Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. The summit features
presentations by participants on the FPD market trend.

The forum will also feature seminars that are too good an
opportunity for FPD-related business executives and engineers to pass
up. Included are the Taiwan Session, which reports the panel trends in
Taiwan, and the Technical Session, which provides the latest technical
information on panels, equipment, and materials.
