Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:RODM) today announced that it will hold its Annual Global Investment Conference from November 10–12, 2008 at the New York Palace Hotel, New York City.
"Our Annual Global Investment Conference has always been a premier event on the life science calendar," said Michael Lacovara, Rodman´s Chief Executive Officer. "We are proud to announce that this year we have expanded the scope to encompass other areas of deep focus for our firm, which include the natural resource and energy sectors, as well as Asia and emerging markets."
The Conference, which will feature innovative growth companies and investors interested in such companies, will focus on firms within the Life Science, Energy, and Natural Resources sectors, as well as firms based in promising Emerging Markets. More than 400 companies have already registered to present at this year´s conference. Last year´s conference, which focused on Life Science firms, attracted more than 2,500 investors and industry attendees and included presentations by more than 350 companies.
The Conference will include corporate presentations and Q&A sessions, investor one–on–one meetings, daily networking opportunities over breakfast, lunch and cocktails, and a gala dinner on November 10 featuring the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band "Earth, Wind & Fire."
