CHERSONEUS, Crimea (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that it was welcome that both Ukrainian armed forces and separatists in eastern Ukraine had ceased military operations, calling this the main achievement in peace efforts in Ukraine.
Speaking in the Crimean town of Chersoneus, Putin also said that Russia could solve the issue of gas supplies to Ukraine.
