Opnext (NASDAQ:OPXT), a global leader in state–of–the–art laser technology, today announced that IMM Photonics, GmbH has been selected as an authorized distributor of Opnext optical devices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. IMM Photonics will distribute Opnext red laser diodes and infrared laser diodes for a variety of applications.
IMM Photonics´ product family includes single components (laser diodes, optics, optoelectronics), sub–systems (collimators and modules) and complete devices. IMM Photonics is one of Europe´s leading suppliers in laser technique, optoelectronics and fiber optics. This new appointment expands Opnext´s extensive network of distributors offering high performance optics worldwide.
