U.S. Secretary of State Kerry stable after bicycle accident

GENEVA (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in a stable condition in a Geneva hospital after being injured in an accident while bicycling near Scionzier, France, his spokesman said on Sunday.

Kerry was transported via medical helicopter to a hospital in Geneva, where he is being examined, spokesman John Kirby said.

"Secretary Kerry is stable and likely suffered a leg injury. He did not lose consciousness," Kirby added.
