Aéroports De Paris Selects the Nuance Group to Create a Fashion and Accessories Joint Venture

Aéroports de Paris (Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) selects The Nuance Group, one of the world leaders in travel retail, as a partner for the creation of a "Fashion and Accessories" joint venture. This new entity, which should be launched in 2009, will manage an area of about 5,000 m² at Paris–Charles de Gaulle and Paris–Orly airport.

This partnership is a new step in the development strategy of Aéroports de Paris travel retail. The Group will hence reinforce its Fashion & Accessories segment, the most dynamic after the Liquor, Tobacco and Perfume categories.

This joint venture will be set up as soon as it gets approval from the competition authorities. It will allow the partners to pool their expertise in the fields of airport, retail and distribution in order to develop innovative concepts and to offer new brands around the theme of "Parisian elegance and lifestyle".

The Nuance Group is one of the global market leaders in the airport retail industry, operating 400 shops across 60 airports and 20 countries around the globe. In addition to its duty and tax free operation, the Nuance portfolio comprises a large number of specialist shops as well as food & beverage operations, in–flight services and shops in other travel retail channels.
