Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (Momentive) will introduce CoatOSil FLX coating modifier at the European Coatings Show (ECS) April 21-23 in Nuremburg, Germany. This new modifier can improve the flexibility of a final coating system without the anticipated negative impacts to UV and corrosion resistance.
CoatOSil FLX is a resin modifier developed for use in coating systems that employ a silane/cure, including dual curing hybrids. It is compatible with a range of organic resin systems and pigments. CoatOSil FLX is an excellent candidate to consider for coating applications in the industrial maintenance, automotive and coil coating industries. In addition to improved coating flexibility, product benefits typically include improved gloss retention and corrosion performance under harsh weather conditions.
