“Now, with Patton’s EMS, our existing staff can support more and more customers," said Marin Milanković, Head of Voice Service Delivery for Iskon Internet.

According to Milanković, the average troubleshooting time required to resolve a customer support issue was reduced by 75% using PEMS—from four hours just sixty minutes.

“Patton’s EMS has a user-friendly web interface. It is very intuitive to work with. Very stable,” Milanković said.

Designed to integrate smoothly with existing network-management tools, processes, and workflows, the Patton EMS employs Automatic Configuration Server (ACS) functionality as specified by the carrier standard TR069.

The centralized fault, configuration, accounting, performance and security (FCAPS) management tool offers Telecom network operators touch-less configuration and turn-up for SmartNode and third-party VoIP CPE.

“Patton’s people were all highly professional and able to come up with solutions by thinking ‘out-of-the-box’.” Mr. Milanković added.

When asked what he would say to companies considering implementing a similar solution, Marin’s responded: “Go for it!”

Iskon is a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), which is part of the Deutsche Telekom AG Group.

Deutsche Telekom deploys Patton´s SmartNode gateways in its DeutschlandLAN Hosted Lync and Enriched Business Communication (EBC) service offerings.

In related news, Patton recently appointed new business development heads for Western Europe (Peter Burkhalter and Asia (Cheong Ann Ng), while last month at ITEXPO, Patton accepted its Ninth INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.
