At the Risk magazine annual awards dinner in London last night, Citi won “Credit Derivatives House of the Year” and “OTC Client Clearer of the Year.” Risk is the highly respected international financial risk management and derivatives publication
The coveted awards were decided by an editorial panel from Risk, based on client recommendation and a rigorous pitch process involving written submissions and a series of face to face interviews with Citi bankers. The judges praised Citi for “leading the market in the creation of new – and more robust – structured credit assets” as well as for the overall efficiency of its “transparent” and “seamless” OTC clearing offering.
“In a rapidly evolving market environment, the development and implementation of innovative derivatives strategies, together with efficient risk management solutions, remain a top priority to meet our clients’ needs”, Leo Arduini, EMEA Head of Markets, said. “We are honored to receive this recognition of our credit business and OTC clearing platform, and look forward to bringing more innovative solutions to our clients and the market place.”
