TomTec Imaging Systems GmbH introduces the innovative AutoStrain© software, for automated strain analysis and quantitative visualization of left ventricular function at the EuroEcho 2014 in Vienna.
AutoStrain* offers you now automated and reproducible triplane left ventricular strain analysis. Longitudinal strain parameters, derived from 2D speckle tracking algorithms are visualized with color-coded regional Strain-Time curves and a Bull’s-eye plot. AutoStrain is fully integrated in the clinical workflow and provides immediate and reliable strain analysis to track subclinical markers. Additional clinical benefits:
- Automated contouring and tracking
- LV volume and longitudinal strain assessment based on three apical long axis views
- Color-coded dynamic strain overlay on the clips
- Direct assessment of results in the worksheet and report
- Combined visualization of end systolic strain and Time-to-peak in Bulls eye view
AutoStrain is a useful clinical tool for adult cardiology. From heart failure to cardio-oncology, AutoStrain can track and confirm subclinical deterioration of left ventricular function long before a visual compromise is observed. AutoStrain calculates LV EDV, ESV, SV, EF and the GLS.
AutoStrain is one of the newest additions to TomTec’s product portfolio. It is a part of Image-Com© which is a module of the new released TomTec-Arena™, a suite of clinical applications to review, analyze and quantify medical image data in multiple dimensions (2D & 3D/4D) and multiple modalities such as Ultrasound, XA, MR and NM.
