Huawei Releasing AMD Opteron Processor-Based Telecom Standard Service Platform to Support Shenzhen Domain Online Gaming Network

Shenzhen Domain Network, Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE:
AMD), and Huawei Technologies today announced the formation of a
strategic collaboration to empower online gaming in China. The three
companies will work together to support an online gaming network,
brand communications, marketing and promotions.
As part of the cooperation, Shenzhen Domain Network, one of the
leading online game carriers in China, will adopt the
Telecommunications Standard Service Platform (TSSP) from Huawei
Technologies based on AMD's award-winning 64-bit Dual-Core AMD
Opteron(TM) processors to provide an online game operating platform.
The powerful system will provide a leading-edge operating environment
with high performance, reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency
for Shenzhen Domain's premium online games including the upcoming
Huaxia2. The new Dual-Core AMD Opteron processor-based platform is
designed to help Shenzhen Domain Network deliver improved customer
satisfaction for its online game users, while putting it in an
excellent position for future development.
Shenzhen Domain Network, AMD and Huawei Technologies are industry
leaders for online gaming, microprocessor technology, and telecom,
respectively. The strategic relationship signifies a pioneering model

worldwide X86 server market.
