WINNIPEG Manitoba (Reuters) - The Canadian government is in talks with the World Health Organization and the United States about possibly providing its Ebola vaccine for use in Africa, a senior Canadian health official said on Tuesday.
Canada owns a small quantity of the vaccine and would need four to six months to make a large quantity, Dr. Greg Taylor, deputy chief public health officer of the Public Health Agency of Canada told Reuters.
The government's vaccine is separate from the treatment being developed by Canada's Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp
