FIRSTavenue, a leading global private placement agent and investment advisory firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen Hines to President FAP USA, L.P. Mr. Hines is based in the New York office and will oversee the day to day operations of the US offices, as well as lead the firm’s client origination efforts. He will also be a member of the firm’s operating and management committees.
Mr. Hines has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity investing. Prior to joining FIRSTavenue, he was with Madison Williams, where he has a Managing Director responsible for business development. He was also a Partner at C.P. Eaton where he was responsible for the firm’s origination efforts. Mr. Hines spent the first 12 years of his career at Goldman Sachs, and was subsequently with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Lane Berry. He received his BA in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard University.
