Belgium Welcomes More Than 1.100 Biotechnology Specialists at the Largest Regional Life Sciences Convention in Europe ? Ghent, May 8th

The 10th edition of Knowledge for Growth – the largest regional life sciences convention in Europe with more than 1.100 participants this year - has the most important sector highlights and several international keynote speakers on its programme on May 8th, including Jan Gheuens of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Luc Debruyne, President of GSK Vaccines, and Michiel van Lookeren Campagne, Head of the Biotechnology Department at Syngenta.

More than 130 companies present themselves at the Ghent convention, which will also feature numerous posters prepared by academic scientists. The popular job fair confirms the strong growth in the life sciences sector.
Ghent is decidedly the place to be on May 8th for anyone with a link to the life sciences and biotechnology. In addition to just about all the Belgian players in this sector, there will also be companies from the Netherlands, Great-Britain, Spain and Japan among the attendees.
