NB Raonic Robot is certificated by Guinness World Records as “The record for the fastest serve of a tennis ball by a machine” marked 273km/h, at Chuo University Tennis Court in Tokyo, Japan on 3 March, 2014.
“The serve was too fast to move,” said Ryogo Hirai (a member of Chuo University Tennis Club) who played against the machine. NB Raonic Robot will accept challenges from college tennis players who want to experience his big serve. The event will be announced on New Balance Japan website soon.
In 2013, New Balance signed a multi-year contract to be the exclusive tennis and training footwear and apparel provider of Milos Raonic, one of the ATP’s fastest rising players.
