NEW RECRUITS FOR TRADE EXTENSIONS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ATLANTIC

Trade Extensions has appointed a new Sales Director for North America and a new Strategic Sourcing Consultant in Europe as it builds on the growth recorded in 2013 and further establishes itself as the leading platform for the most complex and large scale sourcing and optimisation projects.

Mark Maxwell joins as Sales Director, North America based in Montreal, Canada and Ian Milligan joins as Strategic Sourcing Consultant and will be based at the company’s European Headquarters in the UK.

Mark becomes Trade Extensions’ first dedicated Sales Director, North America and the new role reflects the importance of the market to Trade Extensions as the company builds on its successes with major manufacturers and retailers. Prior to joining Trade Extensions, Mark worked for IKEA for ten years in a number of business development and logistics roles.

Ian Milligan has over 25 years experience in financial services and management consultancy working in data management and project management roles. He has extensive sourcing experience and will be working alongside Trade Extensions’ Fortune 500 customers creating and implementing effective strategic sourcing strategies.

Trade Extensions, CEO, Garry Mansell said, “Appointing Mark as Sales Director for North America is key to growing this market along the lines we saw in Europe last year where we grew significantly. And recruiting someone with Ian’s experience in Europe means we can generate momentum on both sides of the Atlantic as we look to maintain our phenomenal growth.”

Trade Extensions grew revenue during 2013 by 53% and its growth is continuing in 2014 with year-on-year sales growth greater than 50%.
