K15t Software, the leading provider of content management add-ons for Atlassian Confluence, today announced its intention to bring its entire current line of products to Confluence OnDemand, a SaaS content collaboration product from Atlassian used by over 10,000 teams. The new add-ons for Confluence OnDemand will employ Atlassian Connect, a powerful new development platform from Atlassian.
Founded in 2009, K15t Software is a long term partner of Atlassian and vendor of add-ons for Atlassian products. 1500 organizations use K15t add-ons to manage, control, translate and publish professionally formatted content directly from Confluence. K15t´s initial release employing Atlassian Connect will be Scroll Viewport, which allows teams to use Confluence as a CMS by publishing their Confluence content with custom styles and URLs.
"We absolutely cannot wait to take Scroll Viewport to the SaaS market," said Stefan Kleineikenscheidt, CEO of K15t. "Confluence OnDemand is growing rapidly and we believe every team on the platform stands to benefit from an easy way to publish content publicly with custom themes and styles."
Scroll Viewport is built on Atlassian´s new Atlassian Connect framework, which makes it easy for developers to write rich, powerful add-ons for JIRA and Confluence OnDemand. Since both Confluence OnDemand and Scroll Viewport run in the cloud, new users can get started quickly without having to run Confluence on their own infrastructure. Using the Atlassian Connect framework, K15t Software was able to create a deep and highly usable integration with Confluence OnDemand. Since Scroll Viewport runs independently of Confluence OnDemand, the websites it serves can scale independently and make use of content delivery networks and other modern web server technologies.
"Partners like K15t have been crucial to Atlassian´s success for years," said Nick Wade, director of the Atlassian Marketplace. "We´re excited to provide new tools to allow our partners to evolve their businesses further by selling their products to Atlassian´s OnDemand customers."
"Atlassian has provided a great ecosystem for us to grow our business from a small part-time venture to a company with 8 employees exclusively working on Confluence add-ons," said Stefan Kleineikenscheidt. "Atlassian´s introduction of the Atlassian Marketplace has been great for us. Now enterprise customers know about us and use our products, while Atlassian continues to help us build products that are more and more useful."
