Upcoming Conference to Showcase Role of In-House Counsel as Global Legal Managers

Registration for the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe´s

("ACC Europe") 2008

Annual Conference in Madrid, Spain, 1-3 June (www.acc.com/acce/ac/08)

is now available. This year´s conference, In-House

Lawyers as Leaders in a Global World, will showcase the role of

in-house counsel as global legal managers. Recognising that in-house

counsel are frequently called upon to fulfill a variety of roles with

increased responsibility, scrutiny and accountability, the conference

has been developed to help attendees navigate the fast-paced

international landscape seamlessly.

Speakers have been lined up from AOL, Coca Cola, Philip Morris

International, McDonald´s Corporation

Citigroup, Shell International, Starbucks, and Turner Broadcasting

Systems to address such topics as Managing Outside Counsel; European

Works Councils; Law Department Management; and Intellectual

Property Ownership. More intensive courses on leadership, team

building and motivation, finance and accounting and data protection for

in-house counsel are also available.
