Seclore FileSecure V 2.46 Released ? The World?s Most Integration-Friendly IRM System Is Now Enhanced for External Collaboration

Seclore today announced the availability of V 2.46 of its flagship Information Rights Management (IRM) technology - Seclore FileSecure. Building on the core philosophy of being integration-friendly, the new release also includes features for enhancing external collaboration. The updated product benefits large enterprises having to collaborate with users spread across geographies and exchange information with various external stakeholders.

“Being integration-friendly will always be a key success factor for any enterprise IRM technology. But as Bring Your Own Device and Cloud Computing continue to gain momentum, the ability to collaborate beyond the enterprise periphery is also an essential factor,” said Abhijit Tannu, CTO of Seclore.

Some of the major enhancements in this release are:

Integration with a wide variety of authentication and single sign-on systems
Seclore FileSecure provides out-of-the-box availability to integrate with various internal and external identity and authentication systems, including IBM Tivoli, SUN One and CA Siteminder. This significantly reduces time to value and allows enterprises to seamlessly extend the IRM system to external agencies.

Provision for offline authentication and authorization
Unique to Seclore FileSecure, this feature allows authentication and authorization using hardware modules in completely disconnected networks commonly found within defense and investigative agencies.

Integration with SAML-based cloud-hosted identity stores
Enterprises are increasingly looking towards integrating their value chains with SAML-based identity federation. With this support for SAML-based identity stores, Seclore FileSecure can be easily extended to external agencies using existing identities. This results in increased adoption and reduced risks of identity and information breaches.

Data classification framework to classify and tag information
The capability to classify information based on a combination of human and machine (DLP / e-discovery) inputs is a pre-cursor to implementing any security program. With the data classification framework of Seclore FileSecure, enterprises will be able to use multiple inputs to classify and tag their information to drive security, integrity and availability programs.

Support for the latest Microsoft products including Office 2013 and SharePoint 2013
Seclore FileSecure’s support for the latest stack of Microsoft applications ensures that enterprises and consumers can adopt the latest technology and increase the performance of existing applications.

Easy integration APIs
Continuing to build on the strengths of the “most integration-friendly IRM system in the world,” the latest release of Seclore FileSecure includes easy integration APIs which can be used by system integration companies and Independent Software Vendors to perform production-grade integrations in less than a fortnight.
