CiiNOW, Inc., a leader in Cloud Gaming technology and branded gaming platforms, today announced an agreement with Metaboli to design and launch a commercially viable Cloud Gaming service on Metaboli.de in Germany. The streamed video games offering will be available to customers via a Metaboli-branded HDMI stick connected to users’ smart TVs. The service will launch with a selection of new and popular titles including, LEGO® Batman™: The Videogame from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, MotoGP™13 from Milestone, Tropico 4 from Kalyspo Media, and ArcaniA: Fall of Setarrif from Nordic Games, and will be available to the German public later this year. Consumers can preview the service elements and interface in the CiiNOW demo area within the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) exhibit booth #B080 at gamescom, August 21-25 in Cologne, Germany.

Similar to the partnership announced in January between CiiNOW and Metaboli’s GameTap Club in France, the proposed German service will leverage CiiNOW’s streaming technology and will be offered as a member subscription service featuring a variety of content and specialty services. Key to the selection of CiiNOW as Metaboli’s Cloud Gaming technology partner was the company’s proven conquest over latency during gameplay. With CiiNOW’s proprietary technology, Cumulus, the latency experienced playing games is significantly less than that of consoles and other Cloud Gaming services.
