NUS Consulting Expands IAC Energy Program into Europe

International Automotive Components (IAC) which engaged NUS Consulting Group, a global provider of energy management solutions, in 2010 to implement its Energy Management Services (EMS) solution in North America recently expanded the relationship to include Europe.

Under its original engagement, NUS implemented its EMS solution to include IAC’s sites located in Mexico, the US and Canada. As a result of this program, NUS has reduced IAC’s energy costs by approximately 1.5 percent per annum for the past two years. Following the success of the program in North America, IAC has decided to extend NUS’s EMS program to its European sites, which are located in ten countries throughout the Continent.

According to Richard Soultanian, Co-President of NUS Consulting Group, “IAC saw strategic value in consolidating it energy management under one consultant on an international basis. By using a single consultant, IAC will benefit from a globally coordinated energy risk management and procurement strategy as well as access to a comprehensive on-line energy data base which may be leveraged for multiple purposes, including energy efficiency, site analytics, carbon management and compliance, etc. We are very pleased that IAC has chosen to consolidate its account with NUS Consulting Group.”
