ITC Launches ProTime InRhythm TM System

International Technidyne Corporation (ITC) a global provider in Point-of-Care testing systems and advanced diagnostic solutions today announced it has begun commercialization of its ProTime InRhythm System through its European distribution network. The ProTime InRhythm product enhances ITC´s product offering for point-of-care anticoagulation monitoring. ITC is launching the ProTime InRhythm into select European markets this week and will exhibit the ProTime InRhythm at the upcoming Cardiology Congress in Turkey, Point of Care Symposium in Finland and the Anesthesia Congress in Germany. ProTime InRhythm is not cleared for the US market by the FDA; the system is not for sale in the US.

The ProTime InRhythm System is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) device for the quantitative measurement of Prothrombin Time International Normalized Ratio (PT/INR) from fingerstick whole blood or fresh venous whole blood collected with no additives. The test system is intended for professional use in the management of patients treated with oral vitamin K antagonist therapy. The ProTime InRhythm System employs a proprietary multi-channel analysis and clot detection technology designed for superior accuracy and reliability across the reportable range strengthening clinician confidence in test results.
