Mobiles Republic, a leading developer of mobile applications for smartphones and tablet devices, today announced the release of a fully redesigned "˜large screen´ version of its flagship app NEWS REPUBLIC.
The elegant new look and layout features increased customization, where readers can design their personal home screen by assigning different sizes and places to their selected news channels.
Headlines now update right there on-screen, giving a visual overview of what is personally important. Readers can now access any article through the all new magazine view, or via article lists, for quick news scanning that brings a much improved reading experience.
NEWS REPUBLIC is a free app that delivers breaking global and regional news. It delivers over 10,000 full-length articles each day from leading news sources, and allows users to create customized news channels that filter this mass of information down to their exact topics of interest.
The app delivers complete articles -- not just RSS feeds -- which can be shared with friends via email, Twitter or Facebook. Readers can further research the stories that are most important to them by using the TagNav TM Cloud feature to bring up related articles. Real-time alert notifications keep users completely in touch when important news breaks on their favorite subjects.
News Republic is available in eight global editions and five languages, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
