The ECM Award 2012 honors the best ECM projects and ECM providers in Germany. Fabasoft partner SSC-Services GmbH received the much coveted award in the category "innovative project implementation" for a software service based on the Fabasoft Cloud Platform. This application enables automobile manufacturers to optimize the trans-company and trans-country management of product certificates for vehicle components.
Fabasoft project partner SSC-Services GmbH impressed the jury of independent experts with their innovative ECM project in the cloud: A solution for certificate management in the automobile industry. In a global market the efficient management of product certificates is of equally decisive importance for both manufacturers and their suppliers. The lack of just one valid certificate for a tire type or windscreen wiper can trigger an import stop with unforeseeable consequences.
SSC-Services GmbH developed a software service for this on the basis of the Fabasoft Cloud Platform, which is instantly and globally available. Security plays a vital role here. The global management of certificates takes place in team rooms, to which only explicitly authorized, invited and securely authenticated business contacts have access. Secure access is possible anytime and anywhere, also for mobile users on tablets and smartphones.
With the worldwide unique concept of cloud locations, the Fabasoft Cloud Platform offers customers the freedom of choice and assurance of a data residency option. Germany, Austria and shortly Switzerland are available as cloud locations. With the Fabasoft Cloud Platform, customers even have the possibility to set up a cloud location in their own company data centers and to dock into the public cloud (hybrid cloud).
