Hitachi Cable (TOKYO:5812) will exhibit rolling stock cables at InnoTrans 2012 (International Trade Fair for Transport Technology) which will be held from Tuesday, September 18 to Friday, September 21 at The Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
InnoTrans is the world´s largest trade fair of railway technologies. The latest products and technologies of passenger and freight transportation systems are introduced. This is the ninth time that this trade fair takes place.
Leveraging the technologies established by production of various types of cables, Hitachi Cable manufactures rolling stock cables which are used for railway vehicles and in-vehicle equipments. Hitachi Cable is well recognized for reliable quality, and we have the top share for rolling stock cables in Japanese market (estimated by Hitachi Cable). Our products are used in bullet trains, local trains, and subways. Since the 1980s, we have also manufactured rolling stock cables for high speed railways in the regions such as U.K., China, Taiwan.
In this trade fair, Hitachi Cable will exhibit various types of rolling stock cables, including EN Standards (Note 1) compliant "POLYENEX" (Note 2) series and NH-WEP high voltage cable. These halogen-free products are based on our unique material technology.
