A record number of entries were made for this year´s much anticipated Broadband InfoVision Awards, the industry´s most prestigious awards ceremony. The Broadband World Forum is delighted to recognise outstanding technologies and services and celebrate excellence across the entire broadband industry once again this year. The shortlist for the awards, has now been announced with top names in the broadband space nominated for the widely coveted accolades.
This year saw the launch of several new categories which have attracted an unprecedented number of entries and significant numbers from companies which have never before participated. The categories reflect the evolving nature of the industry and the areas of growth and development in today´s market. They include, Best Broadband Partnership Award, Best Broadband Cloud Award, Best Broadband Experience Award, Outstanding Contribution to Broadband Success, Best Broadband Enabler and Best Broadband Transport.

Influential players, including senior executives from Deutsche Telekom, Orange"´France Telecom Group, Telstra, Openreach (BT Group), Etisalat, KT, metroPCS and PCCW, make up the independent judging panel for the awards.
The lavish awards ceremony will include a gala dinner in the Hotel De Duif in Amsterdam, on Wednesday 17 October as part of the 12th annual Broadband World Forum.
The Broadband World Forum conference programme consists of six tracks of varied content being delivered across the three days of the show. Over 400 visionary speakers and panellists will take part in the programme with over 200 exhibitors showcasing revolutionary broadband technologies, applications, solutions and services.
