Citadel Investment Group, L.L.C. today announced that Patrik
Edsparr will join the firm in the role of CEO for Citadel Europe. Mr.
Edsparr will also lead Citadel´s global fixed income business,
including securitized products.

Mr. Edsparr will join Citadel from JPMorgan Chase, where he was a
member of the executive committee and held a number of leadership
roles, including the global head of rates, FX, securitized products,
fixed-income, exotics and hybrids, propriety trading and principal
investments. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in 1996, Mr. Edsparr was
with Lehman Brothers in mortgage derivative strategies.
Mr. Edsparr received his master´s of science in applied
mathematics from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, an
MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a PhD in finance from
MIT.
