ARX (Algorithmic Research), the leading provider of digital signatures, has implemented the CoSign® digital signature solution at the Terrassa Local Council, the fourth largest city in the region of Cataluña, Spain.
CoSign is being used by more than 300 Council employees to digitally sign a variety of document types, including Microsoft® Word, PDF, XML, and emails. Employees can also use their digital signature to approve documents remotely via a homegrown web portal. Today, CoSign is being used by members (technicians, managers and politicians) from all Council departments in various processes such as e-procurement. Additional signers are expected to be added in the near future.
In seeking to modernize their processes, cut costs and reduce the use of paper, the Terrassa Local Council sought a robust and compliant digital signing solution that offered the highest levels of security and a centralized user management system. They chose CoSign because it was able to meet these requirements and could also be seamlessly integrated into their existing systems.
