Ipanema Technologies, the industry leader in application performance solutions for business efficiency, took another step to accelerate its worldwide growth with the appointment of Tim Alden as VP of Service Providers and Youssef Kassissia as VP of Business Development.
Both Alden and Kassissia are responsible for relationships with Ipanema´s major service provider partners. Reporting to David White, Ipanema´s President North America and SVP Business Development, they will work with Ipanema´s service provider ecosystem to develop go-to-market plans and directly assist sales teams.
Alden is responsible for the company´s relationship with British Telecom globally. He is based in Ipanema´s office in the UK. Based out of Ipanema´s headquarters in France, Kassissia is responsible for the company´s relationship with service providers including Orange Business Services and KPN International.
Alden joins Ipanema from Nortel, where he was responsible for leading the UK teams within Nortel´s Enterprise Business group. At Nortel, he had responsibility for all UK channels, which totaled revenues in excess of $150 million and included partners such as British Telecom, Vodafone, Verizon and KCOM. Alden´s 25 years of international experience includes both direct and indirect sales management at leading IT companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Intel. Alden studied Math, Physics, and Chemistry at the Army of Royal Engineers.

Kassissia brings more than 30 years of international management experience to his new role as VP of Business Development for Ipanema. He has a broad executive management background selling to service providers having served as VP EMEA Sales for UTStarcom and as a Senior Director at Nortel Networks. Kassissia holds an MBA from McGill University, an M.Sc. from I.N.R.S. Telecommunications, University of Quebec and a post graduate degree from Paris´ Ecole Superieure d´Electricte.
