International management consultancy firm Arthur D. Little has
appointed Mark Mulcahey to lead its UK firm located in London and
Cambridge. An experienced telecoms and media consultant, Mulcahey will
also take the helm as head of ADL´s UK Telecommunications, Information
Technology, Media & Electronics (TIME) Practice. Mulcahey will be
responsible for over 70 staff in the UK, working closely with a global
network of over 1000 ADL consultants in 23 countries.
Mulcahey brings many years of management and consultancy
experience to his new role, having led the development of successful
telecoms consultancy businesses in the UK, US and Asian markets. He
has served as the head of the Asian practice at Adventis and led the
European telecommunications practice of CSMG.
Michael Traem, Global CEO of Arthur D. Little, comments: "A firm
footing in the UK market is key for any successful management
consultancy; ADL´s experience and heritage in innovation,
sustainability, energy, telecoms and finance is highly regarded in the
UK. Mark´s strong international leadership experience will ensure that
the UK business reaches its full potential, taking its place as one of
the leading players in the global ADL business."
Having founded a software company to provide enterprise solutions
for mobile operators in the US, Mulcahey is no stranger to leading
large global organisations. He will work across ADL´s UK practice
groups to grow the entire business. He will have a specific remit to
grow the UK TIME Practice, particularly focusing on innovation in
telecoms, media and technology. Mulcahey and his team will work with
customers to understand the imminent shifts in the market and develop
new and innovative growth strategies.
Commenting on his plans for ADL UK and the TIME practice, Mulcahey
said: "This is an exciting time to join Arthur D. Little and I look
forward to working with the team as we continue to grow the business.
I believe that ADL´s expertise and history allows us to lead the
debate on critical areas of social and commercial change involving
energy, sustainability, efficiency and technology. We will continue to
focus on helping our clients to resolve their most complex issues. ADL
has an outstanding reputation as an employer and professional service
provider; I will look to enhance and reinforce this."
