Exclusive : Generali board votes to oust CEO Perissinotto

MILAN (Reuters) - The board of Italy's biggest insurer Generali voted on Saturday to oust Chief Executive Giovanni Perissinotto, with 10 no-confidence votes, two sources close to situation told Reuters.

The board has yet to vote on the appointment of Zurich Financial Group executive Mario Greco to succeed Perissinotto, the sources said.

Perissinotto's opponents say they were unhappy with the way he was running Europe's third-biggest insurer and with Generali's underperformance under his rule.
