Loomis Sayles Investments Limited Appoints Head of Consultant Relations for Europe, Middle East & Africa

Effective immediately, Loomis Sayles Investments Limited has appointed longtime consultant relations professional Chris Yiannakou to director of consultant relations, based in its London office. Chris reports to Jeff Seaver, managing director of European, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) institutional services of Loomis Sayles Investments Ltd.

Chris, who has over 10 years of senior consultant relations experience and was most recently the European head of consultant relations for UBS Global Asset Management, will be responsible for the development and implementation of all relationship management strategies for local and global consultants located in the EMEA region. Chris will collaborate closely with the US and Singapore offices to ensure the Loomis Sayles message is communicated consistently worldwide.

"Upon opening our London office this past March, we identified the consultant relations role as a critical part of our overarching strategy to provide top service to our global clients. We conducted a comprehensive search for a local, seasoned candidate who had significant experience directly engaging EMEA-based global and local consultants," said Jeff Seaver. "We believe Chris´ strong ties to this community will go a long way towards building mutually beneficial relationships across the spectrum of global consultants and will help them gain an understanding of our equity, fixed income and alternative investment strategies."

Prior to UBS, Chris worked as the consultant relations director for Pioneer Investments in London, where he was responsible for building and maintaining relationships across the spectrum of global and UK consultants for long-only and hedge fund of fund strategies. Before Pioneer, Chris was a consultant relations manager at Morley Fund Management in London. Earlier in his career, Chris held positions at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management and Gartmore Investment Management. He received his BA from Bournemouth University in 1996.
